Practice Support Associate
Overview
As a Practice Support Associate for Catholic Health, you will be responsible for a variety of clerical duties to help facilitate the daily functions of the Physician Practice.
Responsibilities
Answering phones
Scheduling appointments
Handling physician correspondence
Preparing patient charts for visits
Contacting insurance companies for referrals and authorizations
Assisting patients with various tasks
Requirements
High School diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree or completion of a related specialty program in an accredited school is preferred.
Microsoft Office Suite proficiency - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
Excellent interpersonal skills and effective written and oral communication skills to enhance population specific service, team collaboration and analytical problem solving.
Can multitask and work efficiently.
Knowledge of medical terminology desirable.
Able to use, maintain and troubleshoot office equipment.
Salary Range USD $21.00 - USD $27.42 /hr. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience and position location. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
