Manager of Information Technology Imaging Applications Support

Responsible for leading the IT teams that support imaging applications across radiology, cardiology, and other service lines that utilize imaging. This role ensures effective implementation, optimization, and ongoing support of technologies that enable high-quality patient care and efficient healthcare operations. Success requires strong leadership, collaboration, and communication skills in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.

Principal Accountabilities

Manages IT staff by recruiting and training employees, communicating job expectations, and monitoring performance.

Oversees the annual IT budget and ensuring cost-effectiveness.

Monitors daily operations, including server hardware, software, and operating systems.

Coordinates technology installations, upgrades, and maintenance.

Selects and purchases new and replacement hardware and software, when necessary.

Tests, troubleshoots, and modifies information systems so that they operate effectively.

Generates performance reports for operating systems.

Assures all IT activities are performed within the parameters of applicable laws, codes, and regulations.

Evaluates technology risks in order to develop a network disaster recovery plan and backup procedures.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications Required:

Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, Public Health, Mathematics, Healthcare Informatics or Computer Science or equivalent experience

Experience leading and supervising diagnostic imaging or testing initiatives.

Experience with Epic Cupid, Radiant or relevant procedural module (Lumens, Optime, Beaker, Orders).

Experience with CVIS, EKG, PAC S, RIS, Voice Recognition, OB US, Endoscopy.

Cloud implementation and support experience.

Knowledge of AI for business support functions and clinical imaging purposes.

Preferred: Master's degree in CS/IT or related field is preferred.
