Required (up to 30‑50%)
About Prime Robotics Prime Robotics is pioneering the future of warehouse automation. Our robots handle pallet retrieval, case picking, individual picking, and rack automation in high‑throughput warehouse environments. As we scale our on‑prem, production‑critical systems, software reliability, integration, and operational excellence are core competitive advantages.
Our mission is to build resilient, high‑performance software systems that keep intelligent robotics running 24/7 in real warehouses.
About the Role We are a fast‑growing warehouse robotics and automation startup building intelligent, production‑scale systems for real customer operations. We are looking for a Solution Analyst with a strong solutions engineering mindset—someone who can understand customer operations, design technically sound solutions, and work hands‑on with engineering teams to bring those solutions to life.
This role sits at the intersection of solutions engineering, systems design, product, and customer delivery. You will be directly involved in defining system behavior, integrations, and operational performance for robotic warehouse deployments.
If you enjoy owning solutions end to end—from concept through go‑live—and working close to real systems, this role will suit you well.
What You'll Do
Analyze customer warehouse operations and material flows to design robotics and automation solutions that meet performance, scalability, and operational requirements
Translate operational needs into solution‑level functional and technical requirements, including system architecture, interfaces, constraints, and assumptions
Collaborate closely with software, robotics, controls, and systems engineers to define solution behavior and validate technical feasibility
Support definition of system architectures, including interactions between robots, control software, optimization layers, and external systems
Design and document integrations with WMS, WCS, WES, ERP, and customer IT systems (APIs, events, data models, sequencing)
Participate in solution design reviews, customer workshops, and technical discussions
Support system configuration, testing, and validation, including UAT, performance testing, and operational readiness
Analyze system performance, logs, and operational metrics to identify bottlenecks, edge cases, and improvement opportunities
Create and maintain technical documentation such as solution descriptions, system diagrams, process flows, and requirements specifications
Act as a technical owner for solution intent, ensuring alignment from design through deployment
Requirements
3‑10 years of experience in solution engineering, systems engineering, solution analysis, or a closely related technical role
Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or similar)
Strong understanding of complex, distributed, software‑driven systems
Ability to reason about system behavior, performance trade‑offs, and operational constraints
Comfortable working across abstraction levels—from high‑level workflows to detailed system interactions
Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments
Clear communication skills with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
Willingness to travel to customer sites and support on‑site activities
Customer‑facing solution design or deployment experience
Nice to Have
Experience with warehouse automation, robotics, material handling, or intralogistics systems
Familiarity with WMS/WCS/WES platforms, industrial control systems, or robotics software
Experience with system integrations, APIs, messaging, or event‑driven architectures
Exposure to simulation, throughput analysis, or operational modeling
Prior experience in a startup or fast‑scaling engineering organization
Salary range:
$90,000 – $120,000 annually based on experience
Benefits
Employer‑subsidized medical, dental, and vision insurance plans to support your health and wellbeing
Dedicated vacation and sick leave that allows you to recharge and take care of yourself when needed
Invaluable hands‑on experience with cutting‑edge robotics technology that keeps your skills at the industry forefront
A collaborative culture where innovation thrives and your work has a real impact
The excitement of contributing to transformative technology in a fast‑growing industry
