Responsibilities
Design, develop, maintain, and support data pipelines, integrations, and warehouse solutions to ensure reliable and accessible data for decision-making.
Extract, transform, and analyze data across platforms with a working knowledge of the cooperative’s databases and data sources.
Assist in implementing the cooperative’s business intelligence and analytics strategy by providing accurate, timely, and comprehensive data models, reports, and tools that support strategic initiatives.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Mathematics, Information Systems, or a related field (comparable experience may substitute).
Minimum eight (8) years of professional experience in data engineering, database development, or a related field (additional two (2) years required for proficiency).
Experience in the utility sector highly preferred.
Knowledge of SQL, ETL/ELT processes, and data warehouse concepts.
Experience with database platforms (Oracle, SQL Server, Synapse, Snowflake, Databricks) required.
Familiarity with BI tools (Power BI, Crystal Reports) and scripting/programming languages (Python, Spark) preferred.
Understanding of data governance, modeling, and optimization best practices.
Reporting Relationships
Reports to: Director of Software Development.
Working Conditions
Occasional overtime may be required.
Some travel to district offices and overnight travel required.
