A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN UNDERGROUND PLUMBING SPECIALIST In this skilled labor position, you are crucial to the success of our company. Ready to tackle the day, you happily report to every work site and complete a variety of duties, including digging underground ditches for storm, sanitary, and water systems as well as extending piping. You use the extended pipes to correct bad sewer and water lines by making proper connections. Mechanically inclined, you expertly use various hand and power tools to efficiently finish your work. Always safety conscious, you remain completely focused while using skid steers and mini excavators, ensuring you and your team stay out of harm's way.
An excellent communicator, you maintain contact with your underground lead and dispatcher to ensure a smooth, accurate workflow. You also keep your team, the city, and the client up to date on project progress. With a positive demeanor and dedication to quality work, you competently complete every necessary task that arises.
You love working in the great outdoors with your amazing team !
QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN UNDERGROUND PLUMBING SPECIALIST
Industry experience
Ability to use hand tools, including shovels, dig bars, and power tools
Understanding of trench safety equipment, including shoring and trench boxes
Understanding of safety precautions and procedures
Willingness to continue to learn technical skills pertaining to sewer repair and liningWillingness to work outside
Must be local
Are you punctual and reliable? Can you follow directions and accurately complete tasks? Are you an excellent communicator? Do you have a positive and driven attitude? Are you a team player?
