NETA Field Technician
Needed immediately. This role involves performing testing, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of high‑voltage substation equipment to ensure the safety and reliability of electrical power systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical testing and maintenance, as well as extensive knowledge of industry standards, including NETA, IEEE, and NFPA.
Duties and Responsibilities
Protective relaying and relaying systems
Power Transformers
Current and Potential Transformers
Meters, Transducers, and Power system metering
Power Cables
Grounding Systems
Motors and Motor Starters
Station Batteries and Chargers
Alarm systems and Annunciators
Personal Protective Equipment
Education and/or Work Experience
NETA Certification (Level II, III, or IV) required.
AAS in Electrical or Electronics Technology or equivalent experience in the high‑voltage industry.
Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in the high‑voltage industry.
