Overview
This is a Mechanic Position for contract and common carrier with a logistics/trucking company location in Newell, WV. Reports to Shop Foreman.
Duties and Responsibilities
Maintaining tractors and trailers
Performing inspections on equipment
Keeping shop areas safe and clean
Other duties as assigned
Requirements and Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED
Good communication skills
Preference of 1 year of experience in maintenance and repair
Air brake certified
Must have own tools
Desired
Tank experience
CDL with HAZMAT & Tank Endorsements
Knowledge of newer diesel and emission treatment systems
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
