The owner’s representative will advocate for the project owner and ensure the construction project aligns with the owner’s vision, budget and goals. Owner’s rep will vigilantly monitor project progress and ensure adherence to contractual obligations. The ideal candidate must be able to multi-task and work well within a team. Responsibilities

Serve as liaison between project owner and general contractor and handle communications between all parties involved Define project scope, site conditions and material availability to minimize risks Develop a realistic schedule Perform cost estimating and budgeting aligned with goals and scheduling need Review bids and negotiate contracts and lead regular meetings with stakeholders Organize and maintain essential documentation, such as correspondence between parties and contract documents Inspect the site regularly to ensure contract adherence Continuously monitor project budget and timeline, comparing them to initial estimates and updating systems as changes occur Maintain a detailed project activity log, including hours spent on the site and general observations Manage change orders and their impact on schedule and budget Provide the project owner with updates and supporting documentation on potential issues to enable timely decision-making Recommend actions if contractors or other stakeholders aren’t meeting contractual requirements Qualifications/Skill Required

Commercial construction experience Bachelor’s degree required Strong verbal and written communication skills Detail oriented and strong organizational skills High-level problem solving and critical thinking skills
