Lafayette, IN Shift:
1st Shift – Monday to Friday, 7:45 AM – 4:15 PM (Overtime as needed) Pay:
$60,000-$80,000 per year (based on education and experience) Position Overview
Pro Resources is seeking an experienced
Chemical Maintenance Supervisor
to join a growing team in
Lafayette, IN . This
direct hire
position is responsible for supervising chemical maintenance operations, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards, and providing leadership to both maintenance and production personnel. In this role, you will oversee batch treatments, tank change-outs, chemical inventories, hazardous waste management, and equipment upkeep. You will also be expected to cross-train in production supervision to provide coverage when needed. Schedule Requirements
Overtime as needed Mandatory one Saturday per month Must be available to cover 4 hours of other shift time if technicians are unavailable Key Responsibilities
Supervise and actively assist with chemical batch treatments and tank change-outs Oversee chemical maintenance staff and support production personnel Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly waste inspections for compliance Manage chemical inventories, receiving, storage, and warehousing of materials Maintain and schedule chemical filtration systems across production lines Ensure safe operation and upkeep of chemical maintenance equipment Enforce company safety policies, PPE requirements, and housekeeping standards Perform hazardous waste management in compliance with regulations Provide cross-coverage for production supervision when required Required Qualifications
5–10 years of relevant experience in chemical maintenance or related field High school diploma or equivalent (preferred) Certifications: RCRA, DOT/IATA, HAZWOPER, and Class C Wastewater Treatment License Strong working knowledge of plating tank chemistry (CEF certification a plus) Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills Ability to lift/move 1–75 lbs. and work safely with chemicals Proven track record of consistent, reliable attendance Preferred Skills (not required)
Confined Space & Lockout/Tagout training Knowledge of pumps, plumbing, PLC/PC systems What We Offer
