Job Responsibilities
Provide skilled support during surgical procedures in accordance with facility policies and operating room standards.
Demonstrate proficiency and confidence in a variety of specialties, including general, pain management, orthopedics, spine, plastics, bariatrics, ENT, sports medicine, and robotics.
Prepare operating rooms by setting up instruments, equipment, and sterile supplies.
Assist in patient positioning, draping, and site preparation in collaboration with the surgical team.
Maintain sterile field and ensure proper handling of instruments and specimens.
Communicate clearly and professionally with surgeons, nurses, and surgical staff.
Exhibit flexibility and confidence when adapting to new environments and surgical teams across different facilities.
Uphold the highest standards of safety, infection control, and patient confidentiality at all times.
Display excellent organizational and time management skills to support multiple cases and fast-paced OR schedules.
Bring a friendly and professional demeanor, treating patients and team members with respect and empathy.
Qualifications and Skills
Must be a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or grandfathered-in OR Tech.
Minimum 2 years of recent operating room experience; strong preference for candidates with cases in orthopedics, sports medicine, or eye procedures. \ to confidently operate within various specialties, including general, pain, ortho, spine, plastics, bariatrics, ENT, sports medicine, and robotics. Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to work well with individuals of all ages and roles.
Self-motivated and organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
Demonstrates discretion, integrity, and professionalism in all clinical and facility interactions.
