7128**Worker Type**Regular**Job Description**AV is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to help design, develop, and deliver a cloud native solution for a government customer. The Systems Engineer should have extensive knowledge of the Missile Defense System and Integration Air and Missile Defense mission set to include Blue Force laydowns, components, threats, and Geographic Combatant Command (GCC) mission sets. This position will also act as Product Owner responsible for collaborating with various stakeholders to deliver requirements in an Agile environment. This role will work alongside Software/DevOps/System engineers to deliver capability. This role will be up tempo in a cross-functional environment with customer facing interactions. This position is hybrid in **Huntsville, AL**.**Required:*** BS Degree* 5-8 years of System Engineering experience* 3-5 years of Product Owner experience* Knowledge of the MDS & IAMD systems* Software testing and debugging experience* Ability to work in a collaborative team environment* Experience deriving engineering requirements* Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)* Understanding high level Systems Engineering functions and able translate requirements to Software/DevOps Engineers for capability* Experience presenting and briefing technical communities* US citizen with a SECRET Clearance**Desired:*** Experience with Software development in an agile environment* Knowledge with cloud-based technology and services such as Microsoft Azure or AWS* Understanding of cloud-based architectures, microservices and platforms* Familiar with engineering tools such as Gitlab, Cameo, etc.* Some coding experience* Experience with C2BMC, IBCS, Aegis, TOC-L**Clearance Level**Top Secret**ITAR Requirement:***T**his position requires access to information that is subject to compliance with the International Traffic Arms Regulations (“ITAR”) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (“EAR”).
