School based ABA Registered Line Technician, Brennan Behavior Group, Location is school- based in Metairie, New Orleans or Marrero
Job Overview Brennan Behavior Group has immediate full and part-time opportunities for experienced ABA Line Technicians to join our behavioral intervention team of BCBAs, Clinical Psychologists, Social Workers, and Certified Teachers. Line Technicians at Brennan Behavior Group enjoy independence and flexibility in their schedules and a competitive income.
As an ABA Line Technician, you’ll have an opportunity to gain valuable experience providing ABA services. Our therapists receive intensive training and are taught to be scientists, decision-makers and leaders. Although this is an entry level position there is room for advancement at Brennan Behavior Group. The job is fun, flexible, and offers a rewarding experience for both the therapist and the child!
Qualifications
Please note in your application whether you have or are currently registered as a Registered Line Technician with the Louisiana Behavior Analyst Board
Previous experience with autism/ABA is helpful but not necessary, extensive training is provided to all employees upon hiring and throughout employment.
Strong interpersonal skills
No past criminal history
Reliable transportation
A genuine passion for working with children with special needs
Lift and move up to 50 pounds.
Conduct therapy in a variety of settings including but not limited to: at a table, on the floor, in all rooms of the clinic.
Change diapers/aid with toileting needs.
Stay within 5 feet of the client at all times, including instances of client elopement.
Actively engage in interactive games/activities with clients to support their functional goals.
Effectively and readily implement interventions to prevent, reduce, and/or deescalate challenging behaviors.
Education Bachelor’s Degree preferred, but not necessary.
Job Types Full-time or Part-Time
Pay $16.00 – $19.00 per hour Depending on Qualifications
