Position Overview We are seeking a
Full-Time Security Supervisor
to join our team at a high-profile client site in the Morrisville, NC area. This role requires a professional individual with prior
security and receptionist experience
who is able to provide excellent customer service and communication skills, maintain security protocols, and serve as the first point of contact for guests, visitors, and staff.
Key Responsibilities Greeting and Assistance
Warmly greet all guests, visitors, and staff entering the building.
Provide accurate directions, information, and assistance.
Answer inquiries regarding building services, locations, and procedures.
Telephone and Communication
Answer and route incoming calls to the appropriate department or personnel.
Manage internal communications between all departments.
Visitor Management
Monitor and control visitor access to ensure staff privacy and facility security.
Issue visitors passes and collect passes upon exit.
Crisis Management
Respond calmly and efficiently in emergency situations.
Direct individuals to safety and coordinate with guests, visitors, and staff.
Professionalism
Maintain a professional appearance and courteous demeanor at all times.
Uphold confidentiality and comply with company policies and procedures.
Additional Duties
Perform front desk/reception tasks including answering/forwarding calls and directing visitors.
Conduct interior foot patrols to ensure facility safety and compliance.
Read, understand, and follow Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
Job Requirements
Security experience
(supervisory preferred).
Receptionist/front desk experience
with strong communication skills.
Excellent customer service skills
with emphasis on professionalism and attention to detail.
Strong
report writing skills
and ability to follow written directives.
Must project a
professional appearance, positive attitude, and strong work ethic.
Ability to remain calm and effective in emergencies.
Must attend and successfully complete our
licensing class in Raleigh, NC
(if not currently licensed with a PPSB-issued NC security license).
Preferred Skills
Prior corporate facility security experience.
Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to de-escalate conflicts.
