Registered Nurse RN - Critical Care (ICU)
Make a difference in the lives of critically ill patients by delivering high‑quality nursing care in our Intensive Care Unit at Ascension Alexian Brothers, Elk Grove Village, IL. This is a full‑time, 12‑hour night shift position with rotating weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols.
Implement and monitor patient care plans.
Record, monitor, and communicate patient condition as.
Serve as the primary coordinator for all disciplines to ensure well‑coordinated patient care.
Execute physician and nursing orders.
Coordinate patient discharge planning with the healthcare team.
Requirements
BLS Provider credential obtained within 30 days of hire date.
Registered Nurse credential from the Illinois Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date.
Advanced Life Support preferred.
Education
Diploma from an accredited nursing school, or current professional licensure at hire.
Additional preferences: Previous hospital experience highly desired.
