Position Summary We are seeking a compassionate and reliable
Pulmonary Registered Nurse (RN)
to join a leading acute care hospital in Gainesville, Florida. This role focuses on providing high-quality, patient-centered care to adult patients with respiratory and pulmonary conditions in a collaborative, supportive clinical environment. The RN will be responsible for independent clinical assessments, patient advocacy, and delivering safe, evidence-based nursing care.
Key Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive patient assessments and identify changes in respiratory and overall condition
Monitor and manage patients with pulmonary, respiratory, and medical-surgical needs
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and monitor patient responses
Educate patients and families on medications, procedures, and treatment plans
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective care
Required Qualifications
Active Florida RN license or multistate compact RN license (must obtain FL license within 60 days if relocating)
Minimum 1 year of RN experience (Home Health, LTAC, Skilled Nursing, Outpatient Rehab, or Corrections accepted)
Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma required; BSN preferred
BLS (AHA Healthcare Provider) required prior to start
NIH Stroke Scale certification required within 30 days of employment
Ability to work independently and in a team-based environment
Compensation Salary:
$30 - $41 per hour (Depends on the years of experience)
Shift Differentials
Nights: +$4.25/hr
Sign-On Bonus
$10,000 (Days)
$20,000 (Nights)
