Responsibilities Full time, 32 hour per week evening (3-11:30pm) shift position. Opportunity for overtime and coverage of various shifts. Nursing teams feature top-of-license approach utilizing RNs, LPNs, Behavioral Response Specialists, Unit Clerks and Behavioral Health Workers dedicated to patient safety and quality care. New graduate RNs are welcome to apply!
Qualifications
Current Indiana RN License
Associates degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred
Current CPR or BLS certification
Must be 21 years of age or older
About the Facility Midwest Center for Youth and Families (a subsidiary of UHS) has been in operation since 1997, serving youth across the country in need of psychiatric treatment for a variety of mental health issues. The Midwest Center is a respected healthcare provider, fully accredited, 74‑bed private, residential treatment facility with locations in Valparaiso and Kouts, IN. We are dedicated to care of the hearts and minds of our patients with compassion and superior quality behavioral healthcare services through our full‑immersion Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) program for children and adolescents ages 10‑18 who struggle with emotional, behavioral and mental health challenges.
