Responsibilities
Provide primary and family evidence‑based care, including accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and health counseling.
Carry out administrative duties: opening/closing the clinic, inventory management, patient follow‑up, insurance verification, payment collection, and maintaining a clean environment.
Handle patient appointments and perform routine examinations to ensure positive health outcomes.
Discuss healthy lifestyle choices, conduct diagnostic tests, and coordinate with other healthcare professionals for comprehensive care.
Encourage patients to be active participants in their healthcare through screenings, behavioral health, wellness, and chronic condition management.
Required Qualifications
Provide holistic, evidence‑based care, including pregnancy prevention, STI prevention, and safer sex education.
Order and administer immunizations and injections (COVID‑19, influenza, TB, Depo, etc.) and provide vaccine counseling.
Minimum of two years of medically relevant experience or equivalent.
Complete the DOT certification exam within 30 days of employment.
Proficiency in speaking and writing additional languages (e.g., Spanish) may be required depending on the market.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including CPR and AED operation.
Pass a FIT test and wear the provided respirator mask when protocol requires.
Preferred Qualifications
Fewer than one year of work experience as a licensed provider: prior student precepting rotation with MinuteClinic is preferred.
Epic experience.
Education
Master’s Degree in Family Nurse Practitioner program with current National Board Certification and state license to practice as an Advanced Practice Nurse.
Pay Range Base hourly rate or full‑time salary: $37.66 – $81.11. Salary varies by experience, education, geography, and other factors. Eligibility for bonus, commission, or short‑term incentive programs.
