The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in the cardiac med/surg unit during night shifts.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and assess patients' conditions and report any changes to the healthcare team
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients
Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment plans, and post-discharge care
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Ensure compliance with all hospital policies and procedures
Provide emotional support to patients and their families during difficult times
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Florida
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a cardiac med/surg unit
Must have a minimum education of an Associate of Nursing Degree.
BLS and ACLS certifications
Strong clinical skills and knowledge of cardiac conditions and treatments
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Willingness to work night shifts and weekends as needed
