Responsibilities Responsible for the nutritional care, treatment, rehabilitation and education of patients based on patient assessments of needs, conditions, impairments, disabilities and age. Duties include assessing nutritional status, developing care plans, educating patients and families, calculating nutritional and actual intakes and preparing special diets.

Qualifications Shift:

Full time, varied Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Dietetics or a closely related field approved by the American Dietetic Association (ADA). Experience:

Completed a CADE-accredited supervised practice program at a healthcare facility, community agency, or foodservice corporation, or combined with undergraduate or graduate studies. Program typically 6–12 months. Technical Skills:

Computer proficient. License/Certification:

Valid registration as a Registered Dietician from the ADA; current state of Nevada license; specialty certification (CDE, CNSD, CSP, CDR) may be required. Other:

Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide service appropriate to patient age on assigned unit/department.
