We believe in structure, high expectations, cultural responsiveness, and the power of strong instruction to change student trajectories.If you are a mission-driven educator who believes every child — regardless of zip code, income, or background — deserves access to an excellent education, Desert Sky is where you belong.**What You’ll Do**As a Middle School Math Teacher at Desert Sky, you will:* Deliver high-quality math instruction aligned to AMS curriculum standards through differentiation and standards-driven planning.* Support students performing below, on, and above grade level using proven instructional strategies and intervention tools.* Attend weekly professional development and collaborate in PLCs and grade-level teams.* Communicate consistently with families and lead parent-student-teacher conferences to support academic and behavioral goals.* Use measurable assessment data to monitor progress and adjust instruction for meaningful growth.* Support and reinforce a positive school environment that is structured, safe, and motivating for all students.* Use PBIS and restorative practices to develop student accountability, behavior skills, and socio-emotional growth.**Who We’re Looking For**You will thrive here if you are:* Passionate about ensuring students in Title I and multilingual learner settings have access to strong instruction and opportunity.* Highly organized, accountable, and committed to results.* A reflective practitioner who welcomes feedback and continuously improves.* A collaborative teammate who believes “we” is stronger than “I.”**Minimum Requirements*** Ability to pass a background check and obtain a valid IVP fingerprint clearance card* Strong lesson planning, behavior management, and analytical skills* Experience teaching or supporting rigorous math instruction preferred* Ability and willingness to implement a structured, proven instructional model* Commitment to collaboration, continuous learning, and equitable student outcomes**Compensation & Benefits**We reward excellence and support growth.* 401(k) with employer match* FREE medical, dental, disability, and life insurance
