The Sales Support Representative promotes CenterWell Specialty Pharmacy by supporting Field Sales Reps and the provider offices in their territories. This position uses clinical knowledge partnered with a Sales Mindset to increase prescriptions sent to CenterWell Specialty Pharmacy while also providing an excellent experience for our providers and patients.
Responsibilities
Building and maintaining relationships with the medical staff of physician offices over the phone and via email to increase market share.
Monitoring prescriptions in process at CenterWell Specialty Pharmacy to ensure a smooth experience for the provider and patient. SSRs will intervene when necessary to prevent cancellations or negative experiences.
Resolving inquiries received by physician offices including but not limited to researching patient copay assistance, expediting prescription processing, resolving delayed orders, prior authorizations etc.
Participating in Sales Initiatives to increase Pull Through of prescriptions and utilization of CenterWell Specialty Pharmacy.
There are several patient benefits for using CenterWell Specialty pharmacy - lower cost, easier approvals, resource assistance and a more comprehensive cycle of care. The Sales Support Representative will partner with their aligned Sales Team member to communicate these benefits to the office.
This position requires that you will need be available to work during the hours of 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. PST/MST or 11 a.m.-7:00 p.m. EST
Required Qualifications
Certified Pharmacy Technician Must be certified by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or through ExCPT
Must have an active license with the Board of Pharmacy in the state of residence (Ohio, Arizona, Florida and/or Texas)
1 or more years of experience in sales, customer service and/or related field
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications
Specialty pharmacy experience
Prior ScriptMed, CoverMyMeds experience
Experience in a sales support position assisting a sales team, field sales agents and/or an aligned sales territory
Experience in collecting, preparing, organizing, and presenting documents in support of meetings
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
Additional Information Work Hours : An 8-hour shift Monday-Friday for the hours of 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. PST/MST, 11:00 a.m.-7:30 p.m. EST

Work at Home/Remote Requirements
At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested
Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership
Associates who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense
Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone and computer equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job
Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information

Pay Range : $43,000 - $56,200 per year
