Anistar is seeking Experienced Structured Cable Technicians for several direct hire opportunities. The role involves assisting with the installation, termination, and testing of various types of voice and data cables and associated equipment. The ideal candidate must possess the following:
Technicians must have experience working with various cables, including but not limited to twisted pair, coax, power-limited tray, stranded, solid conductor low voltage, Category 5, Category 6, and single/multi-mode fiber optic cables. Job Responsibilities: Pulling and routing CAT5 or CAT6 cables in new construction and existing commercial structures. Dressing and terminating distribution frames (66 or 110 blocks, patch panels). Installing support structures such as ladders, racks, and J-hooks. Working off lifts comfortably. Job Requirements: Pulling, routing, installing, and terminating structured cabling infrastructure in a commercial environment. At least 2 years of experience installing voice and data systems in a commercial setting. Ownership of basic telecom tools: punch down, snips, wire strippers, cordless drill, hard hat, boots, safety glasses, etc. Familiarity with BICSI, EIA, TIA, or NEC standards. Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license. We pay you for referrals!
