We are seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine / PET Scan Technologist to join the imaging team at Oneida Hospital in Oneida, New York. This role is ideal for a technologist who enjoys working in a hospital-based setting and values high-quality, patient-centered care.
Position Overview
In this role, you will perform nuclear medicine and PET imaging procedures to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. You’ll work closely with radiologists and clinical staff while providing a calm, professional experience for patients throughout their visit. Key Responsibilities
Perform nuclear medicine and PET imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols Prepare, calculate, and administer radiopharmaceuticals safely and accurately Operate imaging equipment and perform routine quality control checks Monitor patients during exams and provide clear instructions and reassurance Document procedures and patient information accurately in the EMR Follow all radiation safety standards and hospital policies Qualifications
ARRT (N) and/or NMTCB certification required Active New York State license (or ability to obtain) Prior experience in Nuclear Medicine and PET imaging preferred Strong communication skills and a patient-focused approach About the Opportunity
