Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) In House PRN
Position: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for an In-house Skilled Nursing Facility at Evolve Therapy Services, LLC, located in Jellico, TN.
Job Type: PRN.
Job Purpose: To plan, organize, develop, and direct Occupational Therapy Services in the facility in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, ensuring the highest degree of quality resident care.
Job Functions
Conduct regular screening of residents to determine the best intervention or treatment based on scope of practice.
Perform treatment plans for residents to follow short‑ and long‑term goals and methods to achieve goals as established by the supervising therapist.
Interpret and communicate evaluation findings, treatment plans, and recommendations to residents, families/caregivers, and the interdisciplinary team.
Establish individual resident therapy schedules in cooperation with other team members.
Conduct therapy according to established treatment plans and ensure proper documentation and billing of occupational therapy services.
Perform all other duties as assigned and required to effectively treat patients.
Comply with CMS documentation standards of practice daily with point‑of‑care documentation.
Education & Qualifications
Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy.
MUST have active OTA licensure in the state(s) of practice.
Ongoing continuing education and professional development to maintain current licensure and certification.
