Responsibilities
Develop and execute research initiatives while actively engaging with LLILAS’s interdisciplinary intellectual community.
Help support LLILAS curricular needs by contributing to core seminars or proseminars.
Provide academic and professional support to LLILAS students.
Participate in LLILAS co-curricular programming: workshops, lecture series, working groups, and other academic events.
Required Qualifications
Ph.D. in a relevant discipline, awarded no more than three years prior to the start date.
Research agenda focused on Latin America or the Caribbean.
Demonstration of potential for scholarly productivity and excellence in teaching.
Preferred Qualifications
Evidence of collaborative academic work.
Record of independent scholarly research.
Teaching experience
Salary Range $55,000 - $60,000
Working Conditions
Standard academic office and classroom environment.
Occasional evening/weekend activities may be required.
