The Nutrition Service department is looking for top talent and your career development is extremely important. Upon hire you will automatically be enrolled in the Nutrition Services Career Path which allows you to experience unique learning and skill development opportunities. Complete the entire Career Path and you can earn an additional $3.50 per hour.
Responsibilities Under the direction of the Nutrition Services manager and Supervisor, the Nutrition Services Cook will:
Provide nutritious and well‑presented food for the areas in retail, bakery, catering, patient services, and coffee kiosks following approved recipe guidelines.
Ensure excellence in appearance and quality of all foods served in the Nutrition support areas.
Comply with all HACCP guidelines.
Work at any/all Parkview entities as needed.
Education High school diploma/GED preferred or a minimum of 1 year related work experience preferred.
Experience Minimum of 1 year experience in hospitality services, customer services, or general labor preferred. Previous experience in nutritional services in a medical or hospital setting preferred.
Other Qualifications
Must be 16 years of age.
Must be able to lift 40 pounds.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to multi‑task and work independently using critical thinking skills.
Physical demands of frequent standing, walking, stooping and bending.
