Job Overview As a Field Merchandiser, you'll work independently to showcase organizational and time management skills, establish retailer relationships, and act as the face of Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, support seasonal resets and installations, and occasionally work with other products from partner companies.

Salary and Schedule Details

Your starting hourly pay rate will be $16.00 - $18.00 depending on skills and experience.

Eligible employees receive annual pay increases.

This is a part‑time position with a variable schedule during the work week.

Average weekly hours are 12‑17 hours.

Availability during the week before and after major holidays, which may include weekends, is required.

Your Role and Responsibilities

Day‑to‑day engagement: Use a mobile device to restock, organize, and monitor inventory of Hallmark products within and outside the Hallmark department, communicate with supervisors, report time, provide feedback, and complete required merchandising surveys. Maintain professional interaction with store employees, management, and customers.

Holiday support: During peak holiday periods (Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas) you may work additional hours and on holidays themselves.

Department resets: Participate in installations, relocations, and resets of Hallmark fixtures and card sections, with advanced notice (usually two weeks).

Team collaboration: Support other merchandisers as needed within the field organization.

Physical Requirements This physically demanding role requires lifting, pulling, and carrying up to 30 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally. Tasks include kneeling, squatting, walking, standing, climbing stairs, and using step ladders.

Basic Qualifications

At least 18 years of age.

Proficient in reading, writing, and understanding English.

Ability to lift up to 30 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally.

Experience operating a digital handheld device.

Reliable internet and Wi‑Fi access.

Consistent transportation to travel between assigned stores.
