Levels
This is a developmental position, comprised of three (3) levels :
Level 1 - NF-01 Lifeguard Trainiee - this is an entry level position for those without current certifications.
Level 2 - NF-01 Lifeguards - ensures the safety of the patrons in the swimming pools, enforcing rules, regulations and providing assistance as needed.
Level 3 - NF-02 Lifeguard/Water Safety Instructor (WSI) - teaches a variety of level swim classes, ensuring safety of the students and enforcing rules and regulations.

Requirements
Must successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check. Any discrepancies must be resolved as a condition of employment.
Must meet federal suitability requirements including successful completion of background investigation.
Work is performed both indoors and outdoors, without a fixed schedule. When outdoors sun and eye irritation exposure may occur.
Irregular working hours may be required to include early shift, late shift, evenings, weekends and holidays when the need arises.
Level 1: Must obtain the following certification within 30 days of hire: Lifeguard Training, CPR for the Professional and Standard First Aid by the American Red Cross or equivalent.
Wearing of protective clothing and equipment may be required as situations warrant.
May be required to lift and carry swimmers varying in weight and size.
Must be ready to respond to emergency situations at all times.
