Responsibilities Clinical Dietitian I provides services in the inpatient and/or outpatient setting. Prepares and implements nutritional assessments with care plans in accordance with departmental policy and standards of care. Prioritizes patients at high‑risk by utilizing the multi‑patient task list, MD consult/referral or other means available. Initiates medical nutrition therapy interventions as part of the patient’s individual plan of care. Functions as a liaison between the Nutritional Services Department, Medical Staff, Nursing Staff and other Ancillary Departments.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Food Nutrition or Dietetics, or another nutrition related educational program.
Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
Current licensure as a Dietitian in the State of (state unspecified).
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in Food Nutrition or Dietetics, or another nutrition related educational program.
Two (2) years of experience in clinical dietetics with broad areas of clinical experience.
