We are seeking a Warehouse Team Member to support our operations at Iowa Select Farms.

Purpose Of Position
Follow all bio‑security measures; no flexibility is allowed.
Responsible for picking, repacking and staging of farm‑site supply orders.
Help manage the inventory organization.
Keep the warehouse a clean and safe environment.
Essential Job Functions And Responsibilities
Read and assemble/repackage customer orders from stock; place orders on pallets, shelves or relocate orders to a holding area.
Greet and assist customers, answer questions and help with problem solving.
Assist with cycle counts of physical inventory.
Operate forklifts and pallet jacks.
Ensure all orders for the following day’s deliveries are complete and ready.
Pull orders not ready for delivery from warehoused inventory.
Maintain a positive, professional, friendly and respectful demeanor.
Be punctual and ready to work at scheduled start time.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Adhere to Iowa Select Farms bio‑security policy at all times and report violations to management.
Comply with safety policies and procedures and participate in continuous education.
Follows animal wellbeing policy and partners with Production Well‑being team if incidents occur.
Leadership Competencies
Collaboration Skills: Work with support/production departments to determine best solutions.
Communication Proficiency: Strong written and verbal skills needed to work closely with production facilities and employees.
Problem Solving: Resolve issues independently, seek guidance when needed.
Time Management and Organizational Skills: Prioritize tasks, manage paperwork and multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
Supervisory Responsibilities
No direct supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
Indoor and occasional outdoor tasks, exposure to weather conditions.
Noise level may be loud.
Standard office equipment such as computers and phones is used.
Physicality Requirements
Stand, walk, sit; use hands to handle objects; reach; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear.
Continuously lift or move up to 10 lbs and occasionally up to 75 lbs.
Vision: close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Climb in and out of livestock trailers or supply trucks that can be as short as 48 inches in height.
Drive a vehicle for prolonged periods.
Position Type / Expected Hours of Work
Full‑time, typically 40 hours per week.
Typical hours: 7 am – 4 pm Monday–Friday.
Additional availability may be required during staffing challenges.
Travel
No travel required.
Education, Experience and Other Qualifications
Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
Computer proficiency to process orders, email and update inventory system.
