Community Resource Network of Florida is looking for a caregiver who is fun, compassionate, dependable and committed to helping individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) achieve their highest level of independence and live their best life. We’re looking for a reliable, compassionate caregiver to support a 28-year-old young man who enjoys being out in the community. He’s looking for someone to provide companionship and community outings. If you are dependable, have a warm personality, reliable transportation is important. This is an independent contract position and pays $15.25 per hour Schedule:
Tues and Thurs flexible schedule You will be a good fit for this position if you: Have a positive outlook and contagious energy Demonstrate patience and compassion Responsibilities and Duties you can expect in the role: Encouraging and supporting the individual during home activities Supporting with personal hygiene Meal/snack preparation and feeding assistance Ensuring individual's safety and maintaining a safe living environment Performing light housekeeping tasks Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individual to social events, community outings such as grocery shopping and appointments Promote communication, choice, independence, and socialization Complete daily progress notes Qualifications and Skills: Valid driver’s license Must be able to pass Local and Level 2 Background Screening Provide proven 1 year of caregiving experience or technical training. Have proof of a High School diploma or equivalent Are 18 years of age or older In order to comply with House Bill 531 (2025), we utilize the Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse Education and Awareness website to determine employment eligibility.
