We are seeking an experienced Traveling Superintendent to join a leading civil and infrastructure contractor based in Minnesota. This is a direct-hire role assigned to a major 4-year dam construction project, requiring full-time on-site oversight and travel as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise daily field operations for heavy civil and dam construction activities.
Coordinate subcontractors, equipment, materials, and schedules to maintain project timelines.
Enforce site safety standards and ensure compliance with OSHA and company policies.
Monitor quality control, conduct inspections, and resolve field issues promptly.
Communicate progress, challenges, and updates with project management and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Superintendent in civil, heavy highway, or dam/water infrastructure projects.
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to travel and remain on-site for long-term project assignments.
