Overview As a CDL Driver with Colony Hardware, you will be the backbone of a company whose mission is to provide top quality products to commercial contractors and industrial accounts. You will ensure that our customers receive what they need, when they need it.
Responsibilities
Pickup and delivery of merchandise in a safe, timely, and courteous manner.
Load flatbed truck via moffett and secure with strapping for safe delivery to customer jobsites.
Operate a truck‑mounted forklift to load/unload building supplies and materials such as rebar and erosion control items.
Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections of vehicle, equipment, paperwork and loaded product.
Check in frequently with the customer to announce arrival, collect payments, and ensure all signatures are received.
Qualifications
Minimum 3+ years of prior driving experience and deliveries.
Prior experience safely operating a flatbed vehicle.
Experience driving flatbeds with moffett or piggyback required.
21 years of age or older.
Valid driver’s license with a sustained record of safe driving.
Commercial Driver’s License A.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
