Thermal Spray Operator
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Cypress, TX. The role involves operating thermal spray equipment such as HVOF, plasma, twin-wire arc, or spray & fuse systems. Duties include surface preparation, equipment setup and maintenance, monitoring and adjusting processes, ensuring coating quality meets specifications, and adhering to safety protocols. The Thermal Spray Operator will work closely with the production team to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality surface coatings.
Qualifications
Proficiency in operating thermal spray equipment, including experience with HVOF, plasma, or other thermal spray technologies.
Knowledge of surface preparation techniques, equipment maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Ability to understand technical drawings, blueprints, and job specifications.
Attention to detail and quality control experience to ensure coatings meet required standards.
Familiarity with safety procedures and best practices in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
Strong organizational and time-management skills to meet production schedules.
Ability to work well as part of a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
Previous experience in a related field is preferred; vocational training or certifications in thermal spray technology are a strong advantage.
