Driver Trainer – Alto Operations We’re looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable

Driver Trainer

to support our team by delivering high-quality training for new and existing drivers. This role focuses on ensuring that all drivers meet safety, operational, and performance standards while providing an engaging and effective learning experience.

As a Driver Trainer, you’ll play a key role in setting drivers up for success by coaching them on vehicle operation, safety procedures, and best practices for delivering excellent customer service. You’ll also track driver progress, provide feedback, and help improve training programs to meet the evolving needs of our team.

Key Responsibilities

Lead engaging, hands‑on training sessions for new and existing drivers.

Provide feedback and support to help drivers improve their skills and confidence.

Reinforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with operational procedures.

Evaluate driver performance, track progress, and report on training completion.

Address training‑related questions and challenges in real time.

Maintain training records, attendance logs, and documentation.

What We’re Looking For

Experience as a driver, trainer, or mentor in a transportation‑related environment preferred.

Strong communication and coaching skills.

Ability to provide clear instructions and feedback.

Dependable and organized, with strong attention to detail.

Comfortable using technology for training management and reporting.

Flexible availability to meet business needs.

Physical Requirements

Able to communicate verbally and follow directions from our dispatch team.

Comfortable with navigational apps (e.g., Uber driver app, Google Maps, Emails, Web Browsing).

Capable of entering and exiting the vehicle consistently to assist customers with their luggage.

Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly/occasionally.

Must be able to sit for extended periods.
