Minimum rate of pay: $16.29 plus DailyPAY
Position Purpose Under the direction of a registered nurse, the patient care technician provides direct patient care considering age‑specific, developmental, cultural, and spiritual needs. The role demonstrates unit‑designated competencies and contributes to a clean, safe, and relationship‑based care environment.
Shift and Availability
Full‑time, part‑time, or contingent/PRN options
Every other weekend and 3 holidays per year required for full‑time and part‑time team members
Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or GED
Experience: Preferred minimum of one year of direct care experience (acute or long‑term) OR completion of CENA, PCT, MA, or EMT course OR student nurses who have completed their BSN fundamentals class.
Responsibilities
Perform nursing care as delegated by the RN to achieve treatment goals
Assist patients in completing ADLs
Demonstrate sterile or aseptic technique during delegated activities
Maintain a clean, safe patient care environment
Record patient information and required data to meet documentation and charging requirements
Complete delegated unit‑specific activities
