Summary As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our patients. This position is essential in promoting recovery and improving the quality of life for individuals, while also contributing to our mission of providing exceptional healthcare in a welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients' physical conditions.
Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on individual patient needs.
Provide hands-on therapy and rehabilitation techniques to promote recovery.
Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and exercises for home care.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments and progress notes.
Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
Qualifications and Schedule
Licensed or in the process of becoming a Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of practice.
Strong knowledge of anatomy and physical therapy principles.
Experience in outpatient settings preferred, but _new graduates are encouraged to apply_.
Excellent patient care skills with a focus on empathy and communication.
Ability to develop effective treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.
Must be available to work in Edenton, NC, VA. *Monday - Friday 8 AM - 5 PM, each week. (No weekends)*
Benefits
Depending on your level of experience - Annual salary of $90,000 - $110,000 for a Physical Therapist to treat in an Outpatient setting.
