We are seeking a Fully Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our team! The ideal candidate will be skilled in various therapeutic modalities, including group therapy and family therapy, and will be committed to upholding our mission: To heal trauma and to teach evidence-based skills for a better life and a better you. About Us Open Door Talk is an innovative mental health practice specializing in working with Gen Z, adults, and families. We also offer Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills groups year round for all age groups. Our team includes an Executive Assistant who handles administrative tasks like scheduling and billing, and a Social Media Intern, who promotes our services through social media and community events. Beyond our office walls, we collaborate with community programs to expand our impact and ensure mental health support reaches those who need it most. At Open Door Talk, we’re committed to making a lasting impact in the mental health field.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans.

Provide individual and/or family therapy sessions, focusing on evidence-based practices.

Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with clinic policies and HIPAA regulations.

Collaborate with our team to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Provide education and resources to clients and their families regarding mental health issues.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.

Valid state licensure as a Mental Health Therapist or equivalent credential.

Experience in outpatient settings is preferred.

Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Commitment to ongoing professional development and research in the field of mental health therapy.
