Position Overview The Senior Financial Analyst will play a crucial role in Harbor Health’s financial strategy as we transform healthcare delivery across Austin and Texas. This position will be responsible for analyzing financial data, developing models, and providing actionable insights to support decision‑making across the organization.

Duties & Responsibilities

Develop and maintain analytics and reporting to track performance and identify opportunities for improvement

Create financial models that forecast revenue, costs, and profitability across various service lines

Analyze member utilization patterns and their impact on gross margins

Partner with clinical and operational teams to identify cost‑saving opportunities while maintaining quality of care

Prepare and present financial analyses and recommendations to leadership

Support the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes with a focus on gross margin analysis

Monitor and analyze healthcare reimbursement models and payment trends

Evaluate potential new service offerings and strategic initiatives for financial viability

Develop dashboards and reports to communicate financial performance metrics

Collaborate with the Finance and Accounting Team to ensure consistency in reporting and analysis

Desired Professional Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred

5+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, preferably in healthcare

Strong understanding of healthcare economics, reimbursement models, and revenue cycle

Experience with value‑based care models and/or pay‑vider organizations highly desired

Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and scenario analysis

Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial analysis tools

Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving abilities

Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex financial concepts to non‑financial stakeholders

Experience working in a fast‑paced, startup environment preferred

Knowledge of healthcare industry trends and regulations
