What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Conduct internal and customer audits and security assessments to document compliance with the FBI’s CJIS Security Policy
Collaborate with agencies to determine audit requirements and develop project plans
Identify risks and facilitate resolutions while tracking audit follow‑up and remediation activities
Liaise with internal teams and third‑party auditors to ensure compliance documentation is accurate and timely
Represent CJIS requirements in product development and compliance assessments like PCI DSS, SOC 1, SOC 2, and NIST
What is Required (Qualifications)
Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, Computer Science, or Legal Studies
IT or Security experience preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Access, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
US Citizenship required and ability to travel 25%
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Progress towards CISA or CIPP certification
Experience with security compliance and audit processes
Familiarity with the FBI's CJIS Security Policy
