Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our growing engineering team. This role is ideal for a self‑directed professional who is comfortable taking ownership of projects while collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
Design and engineer mechanical systems for a variety of building types, including HVAC, plumbing, and related systems.
Develop construction documents and technical specifications using Autodesk Revit.
Perform energy modeling and system analysis using Trane Trace 700 and/or Trace 3D Plus.
Coordinate with internal engineering disciplines, architects, and external consultants.
Participate in project planning, design reviews, and client coordination.
Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship as appropriate.
Qualifications
Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of mechanical engineering experience in a consulting or design environment.
Strong working knowledge of Autodesk Revit.
Experience with Trane Trace 700 and/or Trace 3D Plus preferred.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while contributing to a team‑based environment.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
