Position Summary
We are hiring a full-time
Maintenance Electrician
to work on-site in
Houston, TX . This position involves handling daily responsibilities that include maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventive care on electrical systems. The ideal candidate will ensure that all electrical components operate safely, reliably, and at optimal performance levels.
Key Responsibilities
Perform electrical maintenance and repair on industrial or mining-related machinery
Handle the setup, adjustment, and ongoing maintenance of electrical systems, instruments, and gauges
Troubleshoot and assess electrical problems, providing solutions for repairs or system improvements
Maintain logs, complete necessary documentation, and report daily repair activities
Conduct routine preventive maintenance to minimize system downtime and disruptions
Offer support to the broader maintenance team when required
Adhere strictly to all company safety procedures and utilize appropriate PPE while on-site
Take on additional tasks as needed to support operational success
Candidate Qualifications
Hands‑on experience with electrical systems maintenance
Strong abilities in diagnostics, repairs, and problem‑solving
Familiar with preventive maintenance strategies and implementation
Solid understanding of electricity, electrical tools, and maintenance workflows
Effective communication skills with a collaborative mindset
Ability to work autonomously and manage tasks efficiently
Preferred: certification or educational background in electrical engineering or a related discipline
Demonstrated experience working as a commercial electrician or in a comparable construction role
Skilled in using voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other electrical testing tools
Comfortable reading and interpreting electrical diagrams and schematics
Familiarity with low‑voltage systems and logic controllers is a plus
Committed to maintaining safety standards on active job sites
High attention to detail and the ability to troubleshoot under pressure
Clear communicator who thrives in team‑based environments
