Pipefitter-Industrial – Port Wentworth, GA (Austin Industrial)
Full-time maintenance position (40 hours per week). No per diem or relocation funding.

Responsibilities
Lay out, assemble, install, and maintain pipe systems, pipe supports, and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
Draw up pipe system layouts and plan installation or repairs according to specifications.
Select pipe sizes and types, and related materials such as supports, hangers, and hydraulic cylinders.
Cut, thread, and hammer pipe to specifications, using tools such as saws, cutting torches, pipe threaders, and benders.
Attach pipes to walls, structures, and fixtures using brackets, clamps, or welding equipment.
Modify, clean, and maintain pipe systems, units, fittings, and related machinery, using hand and power tools.
Turn valves to shut off steam, water, or other gases or liquids from pipe sections using valve keys or wrenches.
Remove and replace worn components.
Inspect work sites for obstructions and ensure holes do not weaken structures.
Operate motorized pumps to remove water from flooded manholes, basements, or facility floors.
Work at heights, climb ladders and stairs, lift a minimum of 50 pounds, and stand for extended periods.
Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Wear required personal protective equipment, including rain gear, chemical protective clothing, supplied‑air respirators, safety harnesses, sand blast hoods, fire‑resistant coveralls, hard hats, ear plugs, and safety glasses.
Maintain full range of mobility in upper and lower body, including reaching overhead, stooping, bending, kneeling, and squatting.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Journeyman Industrial Pipefitter with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
Must pass a pre‑employment physical, drug screening, and background check.
Legally authorized to work in the United States; no sponsorship for employment visas.
