Responsibilities
Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and incontinence care.
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
Maintain cleanliness of the environment, including light housekeeping.
Report any changes in the resident’s condition to the supervisor.
Communicate in a professional manner with families, support services, and coworkers.
Comply with all safety and health standards, including infection control procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
Must be 18 years old.
High school diploma or GED.
Able to pass a criminal background check.
Experience working with the elderly.
Able to lift 50 pounds.
Every other weekend is required.
Reliable transportation.
Valid driver’s license or ID.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and to arrive on time for every shift.
