What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Apply insurance rules, guidelines, and regulations to underwrite new and renewal policy transactions
Review premium and loss data for individual accounts as part of the underwriting process
Gather information to support underwriter decision‑making for new and renewal business
Communicate with agents and customers to obtain necessary information for underwriting risks
Analyze individual risk pricing for new business submissions and renewals
What is Required (Qualifications):
Associate's Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field or equivalent experience
Crop insurance experience is preferred, but not required
Ability to review insurance applications and other risk documentation
Strong communication skills to interact with agents and customers
Detail-oriented with the ability to investigate discrepancies in gathered information
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Previous experience in crop insurance or a related field
Familiarity with insurance laws and regulations
Proficiency in data entry and maintaining data integrity
