We are seeking a highly skilled
Senior Accountant
to join our clients remote team. The ideal candidate will bring strong accounting expertise, excellent Excel skills, and experience working with mid-market clients. Familiarity with the real estate sector is a strong plus. This role requires a self-starter who can manage multiple priorities, deliver accurate financial analysis, and provide advisory-level insights.
Key Responsibilities Prepare and review financial statements, reconciliations, and reports. Perform month-end and year-end close processes. Manage general ledger activity and ensure accuracy of journal entries. Develop and maintain financial models and advanced Excel analyses. Support tax, compliance, and audit preparation. Collaborate with leadership and clients to provide strategic accounting insights.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred). 5+ years of progressive accounting experience. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, financial modeling). Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting best practices. Experience with real estate accounting is a plus.
