What You’ll Do Plays an essential role in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and staff at the Grand River Health Care Center. Supports the long-term care team by maintaining high standards of cleanliness that promote comfort, dignity, and infection prevention.
Key Responsibilities
Cleans and maintains resident rooms, bathrooms, offices, and shared care center spaces.
Restocks linens, paper products, and cleaning supplies as needed.
Maintains housekeeping storage areas and equipment in a clean and organized manner.
Operates commercial cleaning equipment, including vacuums, floor machines, and utility carts.
Safely moves furniture and equipment to complete cleaning tasks.
Transports cleaning supplies and laundry throughout the care center.
Follows safety, infection control, and PPE requirements at all times.
Assists with additional housekeeping or care center support tasks as needed.
Who We’re Looking For
A valid driver’s license and clean DMV record is required.
High school diploma or equivalent experience preferred.
At least one-year experience in a similar position preferred.
What We Offer
Pay Range:
$16.00 - $21.30/hour (based on experience)
Shift Differentials: $2–$4/hour for nights and weekends

Compensation may vary outside this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.
