Overview
This position will assist the school cafeteria team in the processes necessary to provide breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks to TPS students; focusing primarily on the quality and quantity of food production of menu items and may assist the Assistant Cafeteria Manager or Cafeteria Manager in completion of records and other administrative tasks. Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent food handlers experience in lieu of education Must possess or be willing to obtain a current Food Handler’s Permit issued via the Tulsa City/County Health Department Experience
One (1) year proven experience in working in a kitchen setting with the ability to follow the recipes for all menu items and support the process of preparing menu items to meet service/mealtimes Previous experience in a school cafeteria Specialized Knowledge, Licenses, etc.
Must be able to read, speak, write, and understand English The incumbent must be able to complete a Work-Based Math Test and obtain a minimum score of 75% Physical Requirements
Be able to lift, pull, or push up to 25 pounds frequently and occasionally up to 50 pounds Be able to stand and/or walk for long periods of time Other
Proficient in Spanish is a plus Must have access to reliable transportation to and from district sites
