How you'll contribute A Physical Therapist (PT) who excels in this role:

Evaluates and treats patients per medically prescribed physical therapy plans.

Designs and implements individualized programs to restore function, alleviate pain, and prevent disability; provides patient/family education on injury prevention, ergonomics, and rehabilitation.

Supervises physical therapist assistants, students, and aides in delivering care.

Performs initial and ongoing assessments of patient condition and functional status.

Develops and updates an individualized plan of care in collaboration with the patient, based on goals and capabilities.

Plans, prepares, and carries out evidence-based interventions to maintain, improve, or restore function; alleviate pain; and prevent dysfunction.

Delivers therapy using standard PT techniques and modalities appropriate to patient age and condition (e.g., moist heat/cold, ultrasound, UV/IR lamps, therapeutic exercise, manual therapy).

Administers physical agents and operates PT equipment safely; performs necessary set-up and checks.

Evaluates, fits, and adjusts prosthetic and orthotic devices; recommends modifications as needed.

Identifies/document goals, anticipated progress, and timelines; plans for reevaluation and discharge.

Directs and supervises PTAs, students, and support personnel; delegates tasks appropriately and ensures clear communication.

Accurately documents assessments, interventions, patient response, education, and progress toward goals.

Participates in performance improvement and continuing education; performs other duties as assigned

What we’re looking for Applicants should have a current bachelor’s degree in physical therapy. Additional requirements include:

Education : Bachelor’s Degree required (Physical Therapy).

License : Current Physical Therapy license in state of practice.

Certifications : BCLS required.
