Position Description Immediate opening for a SOLO Non‑CDL Truck Driver. We want the right trucker to join us in Alabaster, AL. Contact Caely: 904‑541‑8943 or text “Alabaster”.
Pay
$1050 or more per week – pay structure:
Solo Miles: $0.40 per Mile with 1500 Miles per Week
Solo Stops: $10.00 per Stop
Per Diem: $40.00 per night with 2 nights per Week
Overnights: for route in Ryder Booked Hotel
Load Out: $21.50
Paid Training
Schedule: Tuesday – Friday
Start Time: 2:30 am

Requirements
Minimum 21 years of age
Minimum of 6 months verifiable driving experience
Pass Ryder Drug Test
Pass Ryder Background and Motor Vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for last 3 years
Pass DOT Physical
Pass Ryder Road Test
Valid driver’s license
Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures
Driving experience for straight truck or box truck: 6 months experience in the past 3 years, OR
2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
Must have box truck and delivery experience
Freight: Touch – Glass, Hand unload and Forklift
Responsibilities
Primarily responsible for safely driving a vehicle while complying with safety regulations, continuous training and customer service.
Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines.
Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards.
Maintaining accurate records; loading/unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer.
Other tasks as assigned.
